220 scientists from 120 research institutions have worked on a new report on global warming and the report says that "the temperature in India could increase by 3.8°F by 2030, due largely in part to climate change". Especially the metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta will face a serious issue because the experts said that the effect would be more in coastal areas. Even our environment minister MR Jayaram ramesh said that "There is no country in the world that is as vulnerable, on so many dimensions, to climate change as India is."
By 2050, this temperature change with full effects create a drastic change in weather patterns and seasonal rains. Also, the report says that it will result in more rainfall especially in the Himalayas and north east regions.
